Dear MANS Member Schools, Staff, Colleagues, and Friends:

‘The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.’ – Pablo Picasso

As the school year comes to a close our prayer at MANS for all of the teachers and administrators in our faith-based schools is that each and every student in your classrooms moved closer to finding their gifts and most importantly toward figuring out how to give them away!

Please review the email you received regarding filing a claim for reimbursement for state required health and safety mandates. The process requires you to go into the Michigan Electronic Grant System (MEGS) to submit a request. Even though the courts have not yet ruled on the constitutionality of the mandate reimbursements, it is critical that your school’s application is in the system so that when/if the court rules that it is constitutional your school will be able to receive reimbursement. More information is found below.

MANS has a number of professional learning opportunities this summer and fall that you do not want to miss!

First, join us in Lansing on June 27 for the MANS School Law Seminar. Registration is available for the second annual Creating Pathways Retreat on August 1 for school administrative assistants. Sessions are specifically designed for your front office staff.

Finally, registration is now open for the 2019 MANS Administrators’ Conference, Building Leadership for LearningThis year’s event will take place at the Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City, Michigan October 16-18. Register soon to take advantage of the early bird pricing.
