Dear MANS Member Schools, Staff, Colleagues, and Friends,
First and foremost, the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools (MANS) staff is praying for you, your staff and school communities during these unprecedented times. With so much uncertainty around the world, one thing is certain; “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:34). While this Lent is unlike any other, it has called all of us to be centered in patience, love and faith. Patience as we continue to meet more uncertainty, love for one another and faith in God’s divine plan.
The Governors “Stay at Home, Stay Safe” Executive order extends the closure of schools to April 13, 2020. MANS will continue to provide you with the most updated information through our website and social media. While the MANS staff will be working remotely for the next three weeks, we are available through email and by phone. Click here to be directed to our contact information.
We have a number of updates regarding upcoming events for MANS and the Michigan Equitable Service Collaborative (MESC). Please see this information below.
While these are unprecedented times, we have been amazed to see our members’ response. We have seen schools respond with distance learning plans in a short amount of time. We have seen schools collecting items for those on the front line of the fight against COVID-19. We have seen many creative ways to stay connected with your school communities. Keep up the good work and we will continue to share all these wonderful responses on social media.
God’s blessings on you and on all you serve.
