MANS Notes – December 2018

Dear MANS Member Schools, Staff, Colleagues, and Friends:

As we prepare for the coming of the Lord this Christmas, it is easy to get caught up in all
the distractions that the Christmas season brings, especially in a school. The Christmas
program, classroom parties, final exams and the overall excitement of the students all
play into a hectic month. During all the commotion, be sure you take some time to step
back and enjoy this time of year.

Registration for MANS Public Policy Day will be opening next month. This year’s Public
Policy Day is critical to advance the legislative efforts for non-public schools. There are
52 new legislators in the House and Senate. Please join us on March 14, 2019, to meet
with legislators and inform them of the issues that face faith-based schools in Michigan.
We look forward to seeing you there and at the many other events coming this period!
