CLC Network and MANS presents:

Exploring the Eight Learning Constructs: Best Practices in Neurodevelopment

Do you desire to better understand your students' learning strengths and weaknesses? Join us as CLC Network Consultant and Schools Attuned Facilitator Pam Maat shares an overview of the Neurodevelopment framework, which will help you provide specificity to your students' learning strengths and breakdowns. You will learn about how the mind functions as Pam provides an overview of the following constructs:

- Attention Controls
- Memory
- Higher Order Thinking
- Language Development
- Social Cognition
- Neuromotor Functioning
- Temporal - Sequential Ordering
- Spatial Reasoning

By the end of this seminar, you will begin to understand the many factors included in students' learning and how learning can break down for struggling students in your classroom. If possible, we encourage you to bring multiple staff from your school to help you develop a common language for discussing students.

This event is offered twice, once in Detroit and once in Bay City. Both events will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and will include a light continental breakfast. The cost is $20 to attend and includes 3 SCECHs.
